    We travel here with my family for baseball with Queens University and the entire staff always takes such great care of us. You can really feel the family oriented atmosphere. Latoya and Ezzy made a special effort to provide Easter bags to the kids and brought so much joy. Levore took great care of us keeping rooms crisp and clean and extremely friendly. I really cannot say enough wonderful things about our stays here the last several years. Thank you all so much for making us feel special and cared for.     Very bad rooms. So dated and unclean. I am shocked Hilton lets this place operate under its name. By far the worst I’ve seen. Dirty carpets, dirty bathroom, OMG It’s really bad.     I just want to point out the amazing server, Miss Ezzy, she’s such a beautiful energy and an amazing person. She made my breakfast experience so enjoyable from her wonderful smile to her beautiful personality. I had to wait for nothing. She made sure my drinks were topped off.     Very Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend

    I stayed at DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront from March 13–15 while traveling with my daughter and son for a dance competition, and the experience was extremely disappointing.The hotel had a strong mold and mildew smell throughout. Cleanliness was clearly an issue—dirty carpets, an unclean pool, and a bathroom that needed repairs.Customer service was poor, with staff being rude and dismissive when I tried to resolve a room issue.My first room was right by the elevator with constant noise, and the neighboring room was loud all night. After switching rooms, the second room still wasn’t acceptable—the shower door was missing and replaced with a dirty, discolored curtain.Basic amenities didn’t work. The internet and TV were unusable, and I had to use my personal hotspot. The ice machine on the floor was broken, and there was no refrigerator or microwave in the room.Parking is paid but not secure.Overall, this hotel does not meet expectations. I would not recommend staying here.     Dirty Room, Peeling Walls, and a Shower That Barely Worked

    We recently stayed at this DoubleTree and were extremely disappointed with the condition of the room.Paint was chipping off the walls throughout the room, which immediately made the space feel poorly maintained. The carpet around the AC unit was visibly dirty and stained, and the unit itself looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time.The bathroom was also in rough shape. The wall material near the shower was peeling away and showed signs of moisture damage. On top of that, the shower itself barely worked properly — when the handle was turned to about the halfway point, the water would completely shut off. We had to keep adjusting the handle just to keep the water running.Overall, the room felt worn down and unclean, which is not what we expected from a DoubleTree. We’ve stayed at many Hilton properties and this was by far the most disappointing experience. Management really needs to address the maintenance and cleanliness issues at this property.
