    BIG Disappointment

    rating09 Jun 2026

Realizing that you are a captive market because of proximity to Grand Teton and Yellowstone NPs, it doesn't diminish how subpar this "lodge" is, especially considering that it was nearly $350 for one night. Very tired old building, dingy, dimly lit, squeaky floors, no elevator. Our room had one dim light between 2 beds, and 1 light by the room door, for a rather gloomy room. Crappy little tv that had a lousy picture. Tired old mattress that had my wife and me meeting in the middle of the bed involuntarily all night long. The in room coffee maker made one cup of coffee, then refused to make another even after several attempts over 20 or so minutes of trying. Ice machine on the floor was broken, so had to go to lobby for ice. Very slow draining sink in the bathroom, which was already pretty shabby. Front desk staff pleasant enough, but didn't even get a receipt for our payment. Waiter in restaurant barely spoke or understood English, slow service, overpriced for small portions Probably the worst value ever for a hotel room, except maybe NYC.

1 Star Accommodation at 4 Star Price

    rating08 Jun 2026

Togwotee isn’t cheap, so we had higher expectations that a $80/nt. budget hotel. Unfortunately, it feel shorts very quickly. While the front desk worker was amazing when we checked in, the hallways didn’t seem clean. When we got to our room, the bathroom wasn’t clean and the tub drain was clogged with others’ hair. We then discovered they the ice maker down the hall was broken. Finally, the coffee maker in our room was broken, and when we asked the front desk the following morning, we were told we could buy drip coffee for $4 a cup. Honestly, felt nickel and dimed and definitely a disappointment for $300+ a night. (Also crazy that there are no microwaves or fridges in rooms, but that was disclosed on website.)

    Awesome experience

I’ve been snowmobiling for years. I took my 16-year-old son and had a private guide Dawson Hatch. He was very patient showed my son and me the skills! We were backcountry on the second day. He is an amazing guide and I hope to have him next year.

    Guide services

    rating02 Mar 2026

Our guide Scott was terrific. Definitely knows what he is doing Very knowledgeable of the terrain and area. Very observant of people’s abilities and picks terrain that is challenging but not over the worst person’s abilities.

Guide Scott found us the best snow on the mountain, kept us safe, and is the best personal tow truck out there

Guide Scott found us the best snow available, kept us safe, and is the best personal tow truck around. Will be back to ride with him again next year.
