Yes the hotel is a little dated but it does the job for what I needed. The room we had was an ocean view room on 19th floor, it had a lovely view, the room was clean and the bed comfortable. Lovely ocean view room
This was my first stay at a Hilton in a while however the rate was reasonable so we decided to give it a shot. The hotel staff were friendly. The valet service was usually quick and convenient. Parking seemed high but the ease of just using the valet when you come and go made it worth it. The room was on the smaller side but we had an ocean view where we caught amazing rainbows. This property feels like it used to be busy, maybe. It just feels overbuilt, empty, and not well-maintained. Here's an example: The MAC 24/7 diner. Sounds like a place that would be open 24/7, right? Wrong. It's only open for breakfast. I'm guessing it *used* to be open 24/7 when this place was jumpin', but not anymore. Room was a bit dated & dusty in places, tho the bathroom made up for it. I found the ladies (except one) on reception were not that friendly or attentive & always seemed to busy on the computer, the male reception staff were attentive & friendly.
