Wow—what a pleasant surprise! Some people mention that the hotel, particularly the rooms, feels a little dated, and while the bathroom may be on the smaller side, the location is absolutely amazing and offers great value for money.The filtered fresh water was a lovely bonus, and the daily fresh popcorn from 5–7 pm was a fun touch. Friendly staff. Super clean nice rooms with soft clean sheets, large TV, nice bathroom and a balcony. Small unimpressive pool. Coffe in the lobby is weak but it's there. Filtered water in lobby is a must. Parking costs $40 a day, valet only but I got away with parking on the street and despite not feeding the meter I never got a ticket nor saw any parking tickets being issued. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly..in fact all staff we encountered were awesome. The room was clean and comfortable but dated. Our room faced the canal which provided a beautiful view but it was loud at night. Restaurants, shopping and the beach were all within easy walking distance. For the money spent this was good value. The rooms are a little old fashion but clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable and the sheets and towels in good condition and white , there was plates , cups and cutlery in the room which came in handy.
