Will work if you really need it.
Its like staying at your grandmas old apartment. Dated, confusing, and a little dirty and rundown like a place that's been lived in too long. Will work in a pinch. Room did not match pictures. Quiet rooms, good location if you need to be near offices and hospitals. Priced a little higher than it should be for what you get, would probably go with Pagoda next time for cheaper. Great location with the Korean convenience store right downstairs called (Nice to C U). We also walked to Chinatown to the Mauna Kea Marketplace to go to Blue Seafood Co. Which was perfect because it was our bucket list places to eat! Even though right in the heart of downtown, it was very peaceful... especially their uncrowded pool and hot tub. Excellent, not a tourist hotel, no crowds, beach, noise. Super clean, Nice large rooms, huge views, great staff. Perfect for me as it is a jumping off point to get every where. Close to shopping and the airport. Minutes to waikiki if you must. Must go next door at lunch for the $14 lunch special at the Taco place hole in the wall. Hotel falls short of expectations!
Hotel room is clean and nice. Bed is comfortable, But no room darkening screens in the room. Lights in downtown buildings reflect in the room to keep you awake ! There was no water station to fill the water bottle. You have to ask staff to fill your water bottle every time! Lobby is very unwelcoming to new guests arriving.
