Location

This beach hotel is located at the south end of Napili Bay, overlooking the islands of Molokai and Lanai, a 10-minute drive from Lahaina and Kaanapali with their sandy beaches. The surroundings embrace guests with warmth and hospitality, from the fragrant plumeria blossoms and well tended gardens to the private oceanfront at Napili Bay. Guests will be entranced by spectacular views of Molokai and Lanai, and the humpback whales, which entertain offshore from December through to April. The Haleakala National Park is also easily reached by car.

Facility

Guests have a choice of 39 suites and 55 studios. English-speaking staff at the reception desk in the lobby are happy to answer any questions. Amenities include a baggage storage service, safe, cash machine and drinks machine. Wireless internet access allows guests to stay connected while on holiday. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. A garden provides extra space for rest and relaxation in the open air. Parking facilities available to guests include a garage (for a fee) and a car park. Other services include medical assistance, room service, an alarm call service, a laundry service and a hairdresser.

Rooms

Air conditioning, central heating and a fan ensure that rooms maintain comfortable temperatures. Guests can enjoy the garden view from a balcony or terrace. Rooms have a double bed, a queen-size bed or a king-size bed. Separate bedrooms are available. Extra beds can be requested. A safe and a desk are also available. A refrigerator, a stovetop, a microwave and a tea/coffee station are standard features. An ironing set is provided for guests' convenience. A telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio, a CD player, a DVD player, an alarm clock and WiFi (no extra charge) are provided as well. Cleaning on departure is among the services offered. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a bathtub and a whirlpool bath. For additional convenience, bathrooms also provide a hairdryer. For extra comfort in the bathrooms, guests are offered cosmetic products. The apartment complex has family rooms and 94 non-smoking rooms.

Sport

The outdoor area features 2 pools. A sun terrace is a great place to while away the hours. The hot tub in the pool area promises pure relaxation. For guests who wish to keep active, tennis and golf are available. Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy catamaraning, snorkelling and diving.     Best thing about this place is the general manager Jayson.They have construction, its old, outdated. The location is AMAZING. But several other Napili Bay resorts. Gazebo is awesome. The front desk was helpful but female staff was not very friendly/attitude.The manager made it right for us and excited for his vision for the property. Will be back if that all comes to light but otherwise not a place for us.

    Be Careful-The Units Here Are Not Created Equal

    Napili Shores is a nice resort in a good location, but our particular rental had much to be desired. It was in the "D" section. The parking lot is right outside your door and the only windows are at the other end of a very dark room. To draw the shades and get any light, your giving up your privacy since there's a walkway with people constantly going back and forth. We could not see beyond the walkway since it was blocked off for one of the pools, which was noisy all day.

    This modest complex of low-rise condo units sits at an enviable spot at the south end of beautiful Napili Bay. Although it is under the Outrigger banner, it does not function like a traditional hotel. For example, the front desk hours are limited, the rooms are not serviced daily, and there is no concierge that I saw. Instead, it seems as if Outrigger either owns some of the units and/or acts as a renting administrator for privately-owned condo units. Either way, the resort allows guests to rent out units for short term stays. We were able to book one of the best units in Building A, the set of units closest to the bay. Building A also adjoins the famous Gazebo Cafe, an ultra-popular casual eatery serving only breakfast and lunch. Our unit was A205, which has a spectacular view of Napili Bay from the second floor room and the lanai. See photos. The room itself is a bit dated but was clean, roomy, and super-functional. In addition to a king bed, couch, easy chair, dresser, nightstands, and flat screen TV, the unit had a well-equipped kitchen with rangetop, full-sized refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. It also had a large closet and good sized shower. We really enjoyed the extra space and kitchenette features of the room. But we did not find the pools or other common areas of the resort to be particularly attractive. There was insufficient shade around the pools. But we did like the ample free parking nearby the different buildings. And you simply cannot beat the view and setting of our room.

    First off shoutout to Alex, Bobby and Naomi at the front desk. Really made our welcome so much more amazing, especially for going above and beyond for my family and my 7 month old baby. The room was clean and well stocked with toiletries and kitchen supply. Housekeeping did an amazing job preparing our room. My baby immediately started smiling and laughing as we entered the room. He definitely gave the seal of approval. This was definitely better than staying at a big luxury resort. Because of the size of the property I felt like it made room for the employees to be really personable with us. Overall highly recommend especially if you have a small family.
