This hotel is located in a very quiet area, not too far from shopping area. I misread the description, when I saw “breakfast available”, it didn’t occur to me it was the same as “free breakfast”. We had placed our reservation through Park, Sleep, Fly and were pleasantly surprised with this Holiday Inn! The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and courteous, the shuttle driver was very nice and had already found the book that we left in the van, when we called the front desk, they already had it waiting for us to call to hold it. Haven’t received my $100 deposit back, it’s been well over a week and I left the room in the same shape as i entered it minus bed not being made plus some trash. Heat didn’t even work in the room either plus the sink drain took insanely long to drain. Parking lot was awful too on top of it, stay away from this place if you want a good stay. Due to delayed and cancelled flights, we ended up in Grand rapids instead of Traverse City and American airlines gave us a voucher for the holiday inn. Once we landed, I called the hotel and they had a shuttle to us within 5 minutes. The young lady at the desk was extremely friendly and helpful for our check in. We put our luggage away and went to eat at the restaurant in the hotel.
