Wifi service was slim to none. It’s like a motor court with all rooms entered from parking lot. Very dark in rooms with all dark furnishings. But it was clean. No one in restaurant at 7:00pm -not a good sign - so we decided to eat elsewhere. Our reservations in Grand Canyon Village got cancelled due to the flash flood. Otherwise we would have never chosen the “Plaza”. Photos online very deceiving… Wifi service was slim to none. It’s like a motor court with all rooms entered from parking lot. We stayed at Grand Canyon Plaza for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay! The pool was great and we had a room with a forest view. It is very conveniently located next to Grand canyon visitor center and IMAX cinema (which we enjoyed on one night), as well as a free shuttle bus stop. We did not have breakfast included with our stay but McDonald’s and Wendy’s and a local supermarket are just a few minutes… We stayed at Grand Canyon Plaza for 3 nights and enjoyed our stay! Great location just outside the park. There are lots of restaurants in the area. The price to stay at this location is so much lower than staying in the park. Unless you need to stay in a hotel on the rim, save your money and stay here. Everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. This hotel was nice. It was clean and very convenient to the Grand Canyon and some local restaurants. It would be better if the couch was a pull out - but it was fine. Nice (heated) pool!
