Fantastic hotel and location right on the rim of Grand Canyon National Park. Staff were very helpful and the on-site restaurant was very good. We only stayed one night, but wish we had booked for longer. AC worked very well, which was appreciated. Rooms were very clean. The views were amazing. The staff were brilliant, Parking can be hard. Tracks from the hotel and well marked and so many to do, Great position to everything we wanted. Best way to enjoy your visit to the canyon! Beautiful, updated hotel on the edge of the canyon with an excellent restaurant as well. We stayed in the spacious Mary Coulter suite and were able to watch the sunset and sunrise from our lovely balcony. Walt Esquivel, at the front desk, provided excellent customer service that is hard to find today! Dinner and breakfast in the restaurant was fine dinin… Best way to enjoy your visit to the canyon! This is one of my top five hotels in the world. Everything is quality and it drips with history. You can watch the sunrise and set over the Grand Canyon from the rocking chairs on the porch. We had a great stay at El Tovar and greatly enjoyed our dinner onsite. Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu and made me feel safe dining there with my severe gluten allergy.
