Nestled at the heart of the beautiful Smoky Mountains, the resort is set on an area of 70 acres, adjacent to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. In addition to this, the resort provides guests with convenient access to both Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge attractions. Dollywood can be reached in around 10 minutes by car, while Ripley's Aquarium of the Smokies is about a 5-minute drive from the resort.

The 219 rooms and 29 studios have a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. 190 villas/houses offer even more space and comfort. The reception desk is open round the clock. Amenities include a baggage storage service, a safe and a cash machine. Wireless internet access is provided in public areas. The tour desk offers assistance with booking excursions. The resort has wheelchair-accessible facilities and a lift. There are a number of shops, including a supermarket and souvenir shop. Children can enjoy the playground. Additional facilities include a playroom. Parking spaces are available to guests travelling by car (no extra charge). Other services include a 24-hour security service, room service, a laundry service, a hairdresser, a coin-operated laundry and a hotel shuttle bus.

There is a fully-equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator, mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, tea/coffee station, dishwasher and oven. There is also a washing machine and an ironing set. A direct dial telephone, a television with satellite/cable channels, a radio and WiFi (no extra charge) provide all the essentials for a comfortable holiday. Bathrooms include a hairdryer and are equipped with a shower and a bathtub. As a special feature, bathrooms are also stocked with cosmetic products and a selection of towels. Guests can also book wheelchair-friendly rooms with wheelchair-accessible bathrooms. The complex has family rooms and non-smoking rooms.

The pool complex, which includes 2 outdoor and indoor pools, is ideal for exercise and active relaxation. Little swimmers can splash around in the children's swimming area. Check in was long and made longer by being a VIP. That meant our keys were whisked away to the other side of the room and we had to stand in line for another 10 minutes. We had travelled 8 hours and had food in the car. Once we reached the desk we briefly listened to the set appointment time win prize and we will sell you a timeshare. We didn’t stay at the resort, but we visited the water park and had a great experience overall. The lady at the front desk was wonderful, very friendly, helpful, and welcoming.The water park itself was great, and the kids had a lot of fun. Beautiful resort set in a mountain, with winding roads going up and up, adorned by beautiful log cabin units. The views are spectacular from the scenic overlooks on property. It is very steep so walking the grounds is a challenge but they have a shuttle running constantly to take you down to the lobby and water park.
