Loved this beautiful hotel!!
Having stayed at a hotel along the water last time, we wanted to see another area of Galveston and decided on the Tremont House. I’m glad we did as our whole experience was lovely. Here’s what I liked and what were a few small things to be aware of, which in the end were a non-issue considering everything else was so great. For reference, we had a Deluxe Queen/Queen room in the main building. Gem of the Strand
We loved this hotel. Location was perfect. Food options were very good. The rooftop bar/restaurant was pricey, but hey, your paying for the view. The sunset was amazing from there. I would book this hotel again without hesitation. Side not… We loved this hotel. Location was perfect. Food options were very good. I'm currently in the 2 bedroom loft room 6202 and it is beautiful. There are high ceilings, exposed brick wall, full kitchen, living and dining area, 2 bathrooms and a huge (@28'x13') patio. Be aware that there is no lobby o… Staying in Galveston for a cruise. Bad experience
Bad experience. Our room had a sewer smell. We arranged to move rooms but the new one was like an ice locker and we called front desk to fix it. We were told that the heat hadn't been turned on. A janitor came to fix it but the room still was extremely cold. I eventually turned it off. The new room bathroom had very low water pressure and barely any water came from the bathroom fawcets.
