A Gem!
We were greeted warmly by a gentleman in a Cowboy hat at the front door. He later started a fire in the large fireplace and told stories about the hotel and guests. Our double queen bedroom was spacious and beautifully decorated in a Southwest motif. The bathroom was comfortable but small and I loved the shower curtain and black and white tile. Hotel had history and character but our room was very small, bathroom was tiny and AC didn’t work. Also, hotel was advertised as pet friendly and there was no area designated for pets. Charm of yesterday lives on!
I first stayed here in 2005, and I can definitely say this place still has the “charm of yesterday” - it hasn’t changed a bit! I loved the staff we interacted with. Our room was really nice, comfy and clean. My only complaint is that the bathroom was very small!
