Do not expect Hilton experience!

Not a Hilton experience at all. It's more like a Holiday Express feel. When we walked into the check out counter the gentlemen didn't even greet us. He was busy and upset at his computer. We waited a while he didn't even acknowledge us or say hi. I finally asked him," is this where we check in?". He sighed and said," I will be with you in a minute". Staff were fantastic. Room was clean and comfortable. Beds very comfortable. A car is needed to go anywhere. Nothing within walking distance. Average breakfast buffet.Staff were fantastic. Good location centralized for attractions and downtown FTW as well as Stockyard. Nice bourbon selection in restaurant. Very welcoming staff upon arrival. I just need to say that there's a Supervisor named Mackisha at the Doubletree that was very helpful with my entire stay! Any questions I had she answered with a smile. Nicely renovated hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff. My only issue was the room(542) we had was next to a stop light, so we heard every race car and every raggedy race car that stopped and revved at the light. There is not really any nice views around this hotel, if that matters. Other than that, would highly recommend.Nicely renovated hotel. Very clean. Friendly staff.
