Roaches in elevator!!

We found roaches in the elevator (photos below). We let the employee know but there was no sense of urgency to remedy the issue. Not sure how they would have, we would prefer not to lay down with roaches. We had to check out. Hotel was dirty and smelled like mildew. Very bad upkeep. It is not like other Hampton Inns. The rooms are small. That includes the bathroom! As others have said, it is in need of some more renovation. The elevators are curiously placed at the back of the hotel, are old and shudder. If they're working. All the hallways are narrow. The A/C unit is noisy. And beware the self-parking fee.But the check in staff are welcoming, there's the usual Hampton Inn spread at breakfast, and the pool looked good, although I didn't use it. Stayed here last weekend. Good location. Set-up was a little odd with the elevators way in the back. Breakfast was super busy bur replenished quickly. The customer service at the hotel was next to none. Every team member whether it was Front Desk, Housekeeping, or Maintenance greeted you as you walked in and in the hallways. The best service ever

I booked a room for one night. The service was exceptional. Elanda was very warm and friendly. Truly, this was the best service. I highly recommend!!! The breakfast was good.
