Customer service lacking and no benefits for loyalty program
Best part of this hotel is the location. We were a family of 11 people looking for a place near the train station with NJT to NY and restaurants nearby. I came across this Hilton. Booked 3 rooms for 2 nights. Hotel offered free parking. I had pre-paid for breakfast for 10 adults (we had one child under 4). What you'd expect. Pulling up from the highway you notice the lights in the Hilton sign are not working. This lack of attention to detail carried through our stay. The motif of the hotel is brown and pink in the halls. The walls in the hall were dirty and stained. It wasn't all that clean. There was a hair on the shower when we checked in. Active Bedbug infestation
We stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Edison at the Raritan Center from April 24–April 26 and reserved two rooms for our family.Unfortunately, during our stay we discovered an active bedbug infestation in one of the rooms on the day of checkout. Very good overall
The lobby has the feel of a resort hotel but the hallways to the rooms are same same. The rooms are older style but clean and comfortable. Breakfast buffet for about $19 or ala cart can be had as well. They have a small bar as well.
