  A Fantastic Experience

  My stay at Ridley House was excellent! The location was superb; close to Duval Street, but not so close that street noice was an issue. The included daily breakfast was delicious (fresh scrambled eggs, bacon, fruit, yogurt, pastries, etc. ). There was even a daily sangria happy hour! I would absolutely stay here again!   Quick trip to use up airline vouchers and really glad we went!

  Service was excellent and friendly. Breakfast was great. Would have been nice to have a little larger room. No place to just sit and relax without being outside.   Disappointing Service and Poor Attention to Detail for a Premium Hotel

  Very disappointing stay for a hotel at this price point. Staff were borderline rude, rarely greeted guests, and even cut in front of us on multiple occasions. Charges were never explained at check-in or check-out, and we were only surprised with a bill after leaving. We were also incorrectly charged for a service dog.Cleanliness was lacking. There was a visible ball of hair hanging in the stairwell for days, including at checkout. Breakfast felt uncomfortable with a tip plate prominently displayed, which is not appropriate for a hotel of this level.Overall, the experience did not match the expectations of a premium stay.   A very big disappointment at a very big price

  This was a big splurge for us spending over $600 a night for a ground floor room on my husband's decade birthday.. Nobody helped us with our luggage from the car to our room. Our room was tiny with some hooks on the wall to hang things- no closet, no drawers- my husband put his suitcase on a waste basket. We travel carry on so don't have big things but our stuff was all over the floor as there was no place to put anything we had. No chair, no table and the TV was perpendicular to the bed so you could not watch it. I need an extra towel and had to ask every day for one. There was no indoor common room to sit or play games just one outside covered area where we ate breakfast. The breakfast was good but no milk to drink and you had to carry your plate down stairs and outside- it was drizzly and windy so that was not good. Seating space was limited so we could not always eat with our friends. We had to bus our own tables ( at these prices?). A flower box was outside our window full of weeds and dead plants- really? in March? There is no parking on site so the nearest is $40.00 a day.. The pool was nice and warm- 2 small tables and chairs on one side and a large sofa on another- don't expect to have a lounge chair to sun and read. When we left nobody was around to help us with our luggage and our friend is in a back brace. After talking to some other guest we discovered every room is decorated the same- photos, etc. Really? The location is excellent and everything is close by. The person at the front desk, who was billed as a concierge, did not always know answers or was helpful.. This was such a disappointment for our special 3 nights there.   A tranquil and historic Bed & Breakfast in Key West, Florida

  My husband and I came to Key West to stay one night without having a hotel reservation. We came upon The Ridley House on 601 Caroline Street in Key West. Nura at the reception welcomed us warmly and checked if she had a room available. That she had at a favorable rate. We were happy to learn that a complete breakfast was included. Also, I enjoyed the warm pool after a long drive down from Miami. The room was nice and the bed was excellent. I highly recommend The Ridley House for your stay in Key West. The Bed & Breakfast is located in mid town, which makes it easy to walk to the sights. There is no parking available but we parked at a city parking garage also on Caroline Street. Enjoy Key West!
