Avoid, avoid, avoid at all costs
On arrival just driving into the car park it was dirty with rubbish all over, people just hanging around. Parked the car and when checking in 3 males were seen walking to the car and looking into it, felt like they were casing the car. Inside the hotel smelt of hot food and cannabis. Generally appeared like people with social housing/care needs ( not their fault) were being housed there. Hotel definitely did not match the online pictures. Hotel is dirty, dingy, worn and outdated. Here's the things that were wrong the one night my husband and I stayed there while traveling through: Bed was not on the base so basically fell apart the moment one of us sat on it, the other bed had stained sheets, 2 small bath towels not big enough to dry off with, no hand towels, no wash cloths. Cheap, but you get what you pay for
Stayed here for a visit in the Rutgers area. Room itself was clean enough, and the price was right. However, despite the rooms being allegedly nonsmoking, there was a pervasive cigarette smoke odor. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING// NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN
The absolute worst. My friends and I are on a trip and one went to check in. Immediately, when he went to go check in, there was a concerning smell in the lobby along with cigarette smoke and weed. Very intense smell. And He was charged a $50 check in fee?? We were never told about this.
