Great Hospitality now a Thing of Past
What a pity this place closed permanently. To be torn down for an Amazon warehouse or a data center or something such.We checked in three days before closing. The property was well maintained. ‘Rocky Horror’ gathering lent it remarkable color and cheer.What impressed us most were the well heeled and professional staff. Absolute DUMP! The whole place is falling apart. Our sliding glass door to the patio, which comes with a significant upcharge, barely budges. Tried two rooms and the second was even worse. Hilton should be embarrassed. And the RUDEST check in staff of any hotel I’ve stayed at anywhere, ever. Michael actually said “you’re not welcome”. I’ll never, ever stay at another Hilton property based on this… Absolute DUMP! The whole place is falling apart. Not really a Doubletree
This hotel is ok. Last time I was here there was no bottled water available for Diamond members. Today, I received 4 small bottles of water. The cookies are not DT cookies. What is happening here? Don’s Stay Here
Everything about this hotel is bad. It’s old, dark, rundown, depressing. The AC unit sounds like a jet engine. They ran out of all white wine at the bar last night. This hotel seems to be surrounded by other, better hotels, so I wouldn’t suggest staying at this one unless you had to. Not a Great Stay
Was there for a conference. The hotel is old and outdated. We were without hot water for 24 hours. While our room was warm the common areas were freezing, the conference rooms were also cold. Food was not great. Was really disappointed, had stayed here about a year prior and remembered it being quite nice. Hilton needs to do better.Was there for a conference.
