  We were very disappointed with our stay at the Vestavia Hills Red Roof Inn. The sign out front said New Rooms, New Team, …..What we got was not one single room cleaning in 4 days.When we specifically asked for cleaning after day 2, we were told they would be cleaned the next day.   Total pit. 6 Mexicans living in 1 room. Unsafe and not a place to go

  Pathetic at best. Loud, tons of pot smoking. McDonald's is constantly busy and loud. Too many people working here and living here. Poorly managed. Matt, Anthony, and Austin are worthless and non existent when you go to the lobby. Chick in 1i8 who works at the hotel as houskeeping does not pick up after her 2 dogs and I have pics of the male dog pissing on my door. She is constantly in the lobby do… Read morePathetic at best.   Not maintained, clean nor toilet functional

  I know it’s supposed to be a cheap place to stay, but I expected it to at least be clean, maintained and bug- free. Unfortunately, it wasn’t not. The bathroom walls were chipped away (see photo). No plungers in the drains. The carpet had been replaced with linoleum, which had sticky spots (ick!) and gritty spots (ugh!).   The room was clean and smelled good there were no issues. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to make sure I enjoyed my stay. The front desk was friendly as well as housekeeping front desk even called me 30 mins after check in to make sure everything was to my liking.I will definitely stay again.
