  Cozy Cottages in Miramar/ Destin

  A small hidden gem with only 47 units, right across the street from the beach. A centrally located heated pool, easy walk to beach, some units have a water view. The cottages are cozy with all of the necessities. All are one bedroom, but include bunk beds and sleeper sofas.   Decent space. Bunk beds and pull out sleeper allow for 6 guests, but those 4 should be close friends as no privacy.The laundry area is VERY busy, but handy.The location near beach handy, but street noise and restaurant noise can interrupt sleep if in cottages closest to either.Decent space.   This was our 2nd time staying here. We love that the cottages are so different from other Wyndham properties. If you can get past the annoying, heavy sales pitch when checking in, it’s a great place to stay. We were originally given an upstairs unit, but we can’t physically do those steps up to the room, so they quickly located a unit on the ground floor.   The historic cottages are wonderful! Very clean and spacious. Great location - direct access to beach right across the street. The best thing though, is the staff! They are all very professional and personable and so very accommodating and kind. I had to extend my stay due to illness, and everyone was so kind and caring.   We stayed here through timeshare about 9 years ago and was pleased with it for the most part except for a very noisy heat pump keeping me awake at night. So we decided to try again with our timeshare(wyndham) luggage etc. were sitting around. We were told the resort had been remodeled.
