The location was good. Close to all the things we wanted to do since it was my kid’s first time in the Dallas area. The receptionist Abdul was attentive. The last day we were there no one mentioned to us about the firefighters being there. We smelled like something was burning as soon as we stepped out of the room and coming down the elevator. This hotel is located along a major roadway making it easy to access a variety of routes all over town. The rooms were good with comfy beds and pleasing views. Free parking in large lot, but no free breakfast. There is an onsite restaurant that is mediocre offering a good breakfast buffet and other meals throughout the day. The room that we received was nothing like the picture shown when we booked, instead the room that we received was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. We checked in Friday afternoon and I went to pour a drink out and wash my face and the sink wouldnt drain. I talked to the front desk and he said there was nothing he could do it would drain eventually. By Saturday the same water was still sitting in the sink and it started to smell. I would not stay here again if it was the last room in Dallas. Where to start? Hotels should be about being able to sleep. That is why you rent a hotel in the first place. You would think..
