Mold and mildew! We've been to several Wyndham properties this is far below their standard. This motel has flood damage that has not been remediated properly. The room was gross, they had no room for us to switch too. Front desk said we could leave if we wanted but would not get a refund. Terrible experience at LaQuinta, Cocoa beach, Port Canaveral FL
To start off, this should be named LaQuinta MOTEL! I’ve stayed at Motels that are better looking than this place. The electricity for the front desk keycard programmer was out when we arrived so we had to be let into our room by maintenance. Upon walking into the room, there was NOTHING to brag about. Staying at this hotel was, without question, the worst experience I’ve had in the past five years of traveling. From the moment we entered the room, the problems were impossible to ignore—the flooring was peeling up and coming apart, and the shower was so filthy that we refused to use it. Booked a room here to stay for cruise next day. We arrived and checked in around 9:30 2/11/2026. The parking lot smelled of marijuana. After receiving the key we went to our room and neither key worked. Went back to front desk and receptionist advised the batteries may be dead in door lock.
