The location was convenient and just down the street from Bryce Natl Park. The atmosphere was a fun, lodge- style vibe and I really, really wanted to love it!!But.... the room we stayed in at the Deer Lodge building was terrible. Disappointing and seriously overpriced

Do not stay here unless you have to. We had three side-by-side rooms in the Deer Lodge section, and unfortunately, all three had the same strong smell of wet dog. It seemed likely to be coming from the old carpeting and/or the older wall-mounted air-conditioning units. We left the doors open as long as we reasonably could to air the rooms out, but it made very little difference.The rooms were also… Do not stay here unless you have to. This hotel accomodation and gift shop across the street are just the comfy kind of stays I ususally book for myself! Nice breakfast as well and their is a bus to take you to the gift shop and back. We also took in the dinner and show at Ebenezer's Barn & Grill and had so much fun! It's within walking distance. One of my worst stay experiences. Only option in town so they rob you with excessive rates. Rooms are 70s style. Anywhere else this type of room would be priced 1/4 of what they chsrge.
