    Upon check in, the hotel seemed well appointed and staff were very professional. My initial room had some noise issues that were unable to be remedied without a room change. Sadly for that first night, the hotel was sold out and I had to wait until the next day to get a room change. Thankfully the manager, Poya was able to find me a suitable replacement. While the initial issue was disappointing, I appreciate that he made good on the situation and his professionalism and empathy went a long way to make sure my continued stay was excellent. I appreciated the ownership of the situation and would definitely stay here again. Thanks, Poya!

    Don’t stay here if you want to sleep!

    The hotel has a unique look and is in a great location. The food is great too. Problem is that it’s an old building and they haven’t done sound proofing, and you literally hear every car that drives past the hotel all night long. There is zero chance of getting any restful sleep at this property until they invest in soundproof windows. Until then, no way will I stay there again. We complained to the manager about the noise and were told this is just city noise, to which I would highly disagree. I have never been to a 4 star city hotel and had no sleep. The first night felt as if we were in a night club and the second night a fast and furious movie. I am super disappointed with this hotel experience and very tired.

    Had a wonderful stay at the Line Austin The room was very nice great atmosphere The property was let very clean . Nice restaurants and everything very walkable Had a great time

    Trendy spot to be “seen,” rooms are poor and LOUD

    The common spaces are beautiful and very trendy at this hotel. The pool area is nice, restaurants, and coffee bar all really cool. However it’s clear the budget for this hotel stops at the rooms. Small, dated, beaten up, and just overall odd. Who needs incense burners in a hotel room? Rooms are bare bones and lack much thought- only one plug on the nightstand for charging phones for a room with 2 beds????Toliet sucked and ran forever, even after multiple calls and trips from maintenance. Worst part was a wedding that went on in the hotel till after 12AM. When paying such a high sticker price for a property, you expect that after 10PM that you will be able to get a good night’s rest. Well forget about that at this hotel. Music and bass thumped so loudly I felt like I was in a nightclub in my room.Overall, stay here for nice public spaces and to be “seen” at a trendy hotel. Don’t expect to get a good night’s rest or a comfortable well appointed room.

    The lobby is the only decent thing about the hotel. Tacos in the lobby were fabulous but takeout style, which is fine. I think it's a separate business, which makes sense since nothing else was nice.As soon as you head to the room...all downhill. As soon as you get off the elevator, it smells musty like the carpet needs to be ripped up. The room isn't much better. The beds are so low to the ground...literally below my knee...on a wooden platform with no box spring. Uncomfortable beds as well. While I didn't see any signs of bugs or anything, I felt itchy.Everything looks cheap like decorations came from IKEA.I kept hearing loud sounds behind the wall like mechanical...over and over every few minutes. It got annoying so I called the front desk and they said it's the AC units on the roof, and offered me earplugs. Hotel was full so couldn't change rooms.I didn't want to sleep there but it was too late. I'll never ever stay again. I was embarrassed that I chose the hotel because my manager also stayed there for our work trip. She'll probably never want me to choose a hotel again. Awful experience. There's no way that's a 4 star hotel. 3 stars would be super generous. I'd give it a 2.5 max. Everything about it was awful except the tacos and bathroom soap/lotion products.
