Do NOT book at this hotel if you want to sleep
The worst hotel I’ve stayed at in a very long time! Sofa beds are in terrible shape. Wall thermostats do not work. The worst bast part the hotel has zero soundproofing and has multiple bars and outdoor music venues right outside: don’t stay here if you want to be able to watch tv, relax or sleep between 8pm and 3 am. Too LOUD to Sleep
They didn’t tell us until we checked in that there is a bar behind the hotel that plays live music LOUDLY until 2am. They offered us earplugs and a sound machine at check in, but the band was too loud to be drowned out. I will never stay here again. My trip to Austin was an unforgettable experience. It started with the stellar customer service I received from ALL the staff! As soon as I entered the hotel, I was greeted by the brightest, most welcoming smile by Raquel! This was the single best Homewood Suites I have stayed at. The quality of service was outstanding, from the checking to the breakfast, to the rooms. I stay at a lot of hotels and I was really impressed by this one.The only thing to be aware of is that this is by the highway so you will get some road noise.
