Holiday Inn Express has been physically combined with Hotel Indigo with which it shares a block. Be prepared to wander lengthy corridors to find where to check in (which is not at the old entrance for the Holiday Inn Express). Room was comfortable but wasn't cleaned or restocked until we asked on second day of our stay --staff may be over extended at this point. Hotel appeared nice...the room, the pool, but it became a nightmare. I had booked a room facing the pool but because of the government shutdown I came 2 days early, paid for early check in and got a city facing room full of FEATHER pillows that I'm allergic to (and I had requested a FEATHER FREE ROOM). Good value if you can get a room on sale. HVAC worked well. Reasonably quiet upper floor. They must’ve had some issues on the lobby floor with the AC because there were big fans in the breakfast buffet room and the gym. Bed and pillow were ok. Rooms were nice and clean. There was a lovely outdoor pool and lounge area.
