Located at the intersection of I-35 North and Highway 290 East, the hotel is about a 5-minute drive from Downtown Austin and some 20 minutes from Austin Bergstrom International Airport. Everything was good from check-in to checkout. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast was decent. There’s a Starbucks inside the hotel. Some of the room doors are inside and some are outside doors facing the courtyard. Some rooms have double doors that face the courtyard. The showers have nice, hot water. This hotel was very quiet during my stay. Parking was easy at the parking garage next door. Room was typical, but nicely decorated with Texas themed wall prints etc. In room coffee maker and small refrigerator. Room was very clean. Bathroom was not particularly high end, but functional with tub/shower. Could use a heating light in the bathroom during winter months. The staff was phenomenal.
