Room was clean and usual amenities provided. Staff were the best part of our experience. Air conditioning was unreasonably loud. Every time it shut off and started up we woke up. Bed was firm and hurt my hips. Low toilet for us tall folks. We were there for just one night stay before traveling to our destination. Not a return stay for us. Shame on me for not investigating the property a little bit better before booking. Was coming into town and did a same day reservation. Not one door to this hotel has any security features. The conf center doors were never locked, so I felt a little uncomfortable as my room was on far side. Red Roof Inn and Best Western motels are next door.Older hotel who has had some paint and wallpaper renovati… Shame on me for not investigating the property a little bit better before booking. I booked a room at the DoubleTree by Hilton Annapolis on a Saturday in July. What should have been a simple overnight stay became one of the most upsetting hotel experiences I have ever had.I had already checked in on the Hilton Honors app and went to the front desk to verify my identity. My wife and I spent two nights here while visiting family and friends. The hotel structure is older with small elevators. For us, that was just a minor drawback. We found the facility to be well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our bed was very comfortable. We would stay here again.
