Not a fair situation at all!

I thought I reserved this room on RedRoof.comBut I was transferred to Reservation.com where I was charged a service fee of $17.99 for a nonrefundable Reservation in Albuquerque, NM.Then, I was forced to pay $100 deposit that will be held for 3-5 days. I am a senior and this process is unethical. I will report this to the Better Business Bureau and Consumer Affairs.Very bad customer service. Both men whom I encountered at the front desk and at Reservation.com were rude. Gated Hotel off interstate in midtown. Exterior in need of a good repaint. Pool out of action. Police cruiser at reception as we left. Also noticed the razor wire around the fencing when leaving in daylight. Rooms shabby with doors straight to outside - no cosy corridors. Air con noisy but working. Breakfast cold buffet and very limited. Refund Ripoff

This motel required a deposit of $100. I paid cash and have receipt, at check out informed only manager can refund. I returned to Oregon, and called 3 days in a row. Now motel says to get my deposit I must appear in person to get deposit back. I was visiting sister in New Mexico, live in Oregon. Now they won't refund my deposit. In person? Beware travelers. This practice allows motel to rip off deposits for swindle tactics. One of My Best Red Roof Experiences

The company I am contracted with has a discount with Red Roof so I stay at their facilities often. This one was one of the best I have found. It even had an elevator which is not common at most of the Red Roof properties where I have stayed. The free breakfast was comparable to the Holiday Inn Express properties that I also frequent. So, if you are seeking a deal that will exceed your expectations, I would recommend this property. My Best Red Roof Experience

I use Red Roof for my travel overnights because of their pricing. While this stop had a great price, I was pleasantly surprise to find things I don't usually get at Red Roof such as a complimentary breakfast. While it wasn't the best selection of breakfast items, I was still able to find enough to fill my needs. The room wasn't plush but it was certainly one of the best I have found at Red Roof properties. Kudos to management!
