Lindeth Howe hotel is a few minutes from Bowness on Windermere. It is a stunning hotel with the most beautiful decor and attention to detail. Having been previously owned by Britrix Potter, the hotel has a literary feel to.ot, using books and animals from her stories, in all rooms. Lovely tranquil hotel just outside Bowness. Only stayed 1 night for our anniversary, wish we'd stayed longer. Rooms clean & spacious with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Dinner was absolutely amazing as was breakfast. Couldn't fault Lindeth Howe, 10 out of 10. Our second visit & would definitely recommend it.Lovely tranquil hotel just outside Bowness. We return to Lindeth Howe each year around this time and are never disappointed. This year was no exception. The warm welcome and general ambience makes you relax as soon as you enter. The room was excellent and the service was very good. The meal was excellent and I would have given a 5 star review except for the overcharging.
