We had a one night stay to visit the Van Goff experience, so knew nothing about the Voco. What a fantastic surprise we got, from the initial very friendly and helpful receptionist to the absolute surprise at how lovely the Hotel was especially the room. Very underwhelmed. Tiled skirting board in bathroom coated with shaved hair so cleanliness was a concern. Premium bedroom spacious but only has about 3 hangers in cramped cupboard and no drawers so you’ll need to live out of a suitcase. Nowhere to hang a wet coat. In the evening Young woman in restaurant grudgingly said ‘I can let you have that table’ when we asked for a table in a better lit area… Very underwhelmed.
