Dated Hotel with Poor Experience

I’ve stayed at this hotel once before & had another lovely nights stay last weekend. Room was lovely & everyone at the hotel were friendly. We had an evening meal in the restaurant- slow service but the server was very polite & helpful. My daughter was getting frustrated with the few flies in the restaurant though. Rooms need done tlc lights not working in bathroom and by bed, water takes ages to heat and shower trickles out. Unfortunately not great rooms as out of date and in need of paint and love Breakfast had not a lot of choice and broken toaster and hour from end of breakfast no pastries or bread left, was overall a poor stay which is such a shame as could be fantastic. We stayed overnight for a wedding last week.... the wedding itself was excellent so no complaints about that.Ironically the last time.we stayed here was another wedding 20 years ago.... unfortunately nothing seems to have changed in that time in the hotel.
