We booked a last minute break to this hotel, we are regular visitors to Torquay, the deciding factor was the aircon in this heat.As HH gold I cannot believe we have never stayed here before, as regular visitors to Hilton hotels, I don’t think we have come across where the whole team from check in to ALL other staff excellent.Special mention though to Craig, you really went above and beyond to make our stay so good.Hotel is spotless, breakfast lovely, with lots of space to enjoy the experience. Maybe our first experience of the Hampton Torquay, but won’t be the last. we had a wonderful stay here at the Hilton Torquay. The hotel is a 5 min walk to the seafront. The check in was smooth as was the checkout. The staff were brilliant. Thank you so much! Superb hotel, great value for money.

We struggled to find fault with this hotel, from the friendly greeting and booking in, to the checking out, we could find no reason to complain, which is rare these days.The location is perfect, the lift down to street level is an added bonus. The air conditioning throughout was welcomed especially with outside temperatures in the mid 20's outside. The rooms were spacious, well appointed and spotless (we chose basic twin rooms.) The bedding and pillows were first class.Special mention to the duty manager who scooped my friend off the floor when he fell over drunk and accompanied him to his room.
