It is well connected with road and rail; by car, it is about 45 minutes drive to Edinburgh or Glasgow or a short train ride. What an improvement to this hotel! It is in a beautiful setting. Rooms, staff, cleanliness and comfort excellent. Our dinner and breakfast were delicious. We will definitely be back!

Footpath down through the grounds for walking into the shops instead of jumping of the road when a car came.

Due to a recent injury I could not access the room I was supposed too. Trip was good however has been better.
