Arrived in Southampton for 2 nighrs b4 departing on a 13 night cruise . I tried the Travelodge which was really poor , but thank goodness stayed at Leonardo the next , cheaper than the TL & so so much better . Clean , quiet amenities fab , staff friendly. Close to city centre . Will rebook for another night after cruise finishes . I had a two night weekend stay in this city centre hotel. The location is fabulous - 15 min walk to the train station, the city centre, or a 20 min walk to St Mary's Stadium. My room was lovely, spacious, nicely decorated, clean, and stocked with nice refreshments and toiletries. The bathroom was roomy and the shower quality good.
