  excellent overnight stay at Ibis Sheffield city centre

  I enjoyed an excellent night's sleep at the hotel. we stayed in the Ibis for overnight after a long train journey to Sheffield from London St Pancras international train station after we been on our holiday on the 7 day MSC Splendida cruise from Barcelona from London Gatwick airport just before we catch the Uber taxi back to our house from the Ibis hotel on the next day.   Awful hotel experience

  Not a very good hotel at all , bathroom door didn't close. Window didn't close. Loud shouting police cars all night , smell of drugs outside , we came down for breakfast only to find hotel cornered off by police. Riot police came into hotel and removed 2 men in handcuffs, we was sitting eating breakfast staff didn't tell us anything.   Not far from train station 15 min walk. Will let you leave bags prior to check in and after check out if needed. Friendly staff, very clean and in a great location. 15 to 20 min walk into city centre. Nice little pub next door, full of locals very friendly.   I was impressed by the impeccable cleanliness of the hotel.
