    We stayed for 2 nights in the Novotel Reading Centre this weekend and had an excellent stay. We'd asked for a quiet room which we were given and had no noise issues at all.The hotel is perfectly located, very close to the train station, well served by all the local buses and walking distance to everything in central Reading. The staff were hugely welcoming and we had great service from everyone, special shout out to Lucy and Marissa on reception who were hugely welcoming and made our stay just a bit extra special.We will definitely stay again.     Stayed here for two nights. The reception staff were efficient and helpful, and they quickly sorted out a refund for dinner charges that had been added in error. They also made sure all my requests were met, including allocating a quiet room.Special mention to Klara in the dining area — she was excellent and made sure every guest was well looked after.The location is perfect, right next to the train station and in the heart of the city centre.The only drawback was the expensive car parking.     Room was a nice size. Clean and comfy with a view over Reading city centre - not facing the train station. Breakfast was great!
