Staff are lovely. So friendly, welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was basic but ok.. the rooms…..tired, noisy, and a terrible bed. The traffic noise was terrible all night. If you’re a light sleeper don’t stay here. Could also hear the room next door coughing all night. The mattress was very well worn. Large pit in the centre. Very uncomfortable. Margaret Garcia, General Manager at Ibis Plymouth Hotel, responded to this review I am sorry you were so disappointed with your stay. Our rooms are recently fully refurbished but I will investigate the issue with the bed.

Breakfast - No fried eggs!!!!

Staff extremely helpfull & friendly , room cosey & clean , only critisism is its £11.95 for breakfast and all freshly cooked except!!! you cant get fried eggs with your breakfast which for me is a crucial part of an English breakfast , only scrambled eggs - hence i wont be spending another £11.95 for breakfast if no fried eggs 😥 Margaret Garcia, General Manager at Ibis Plymouth Hotel, responded to this review Thank you for your review. Our go to in Plymouth when visiting family

We have family in Plymouth and this is now our hotel of choice as the staff are great, friendly and efficient and its good value. We love the location and the fact there is free parking. The breakfast buffet is good too. The lady on front desk on 26 Dec and for breakfast on 27 Dec was very friendly. All the staff we encountered were great. I travel a fair bit and always notice when the staff are so accommodating and they are here!

Booked to stay here with my dog to see family. Hotel is again excellent, perfect for what’s needed, rooms are good and have what you need, wardrobe could be easier to get into as shelves at side so hanging clothes block access, but otherwise can’t fault it.The staff, as usual, were friendly and pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is in a great location, easy to get onto A38 for either Exeter or Cornwall bound.Plenty of dog walks around, my dog found the Forder Valley nature reserve, and there’s a lovely walk off of leigham manor drive by the river Plym.Didn’t use restaurant this time, but looked and smelt fantastic!All in all enjoyed it again, and sad to have left!
