Great location next to the castle and close to the city centre. Easy to walk to see the city. A very quirky and unique atmosphere with it being an old prison. My room was very comfy and clean. We had a great stay at Malmaison in Oxford for only a night. All the staff were very professional and friendly. Adrean was especially excellent as we enjoyed their amazing breakfast adjacent to the bar. Do not miss the whimsical art by Nic Joly on the walls or the homemade granola and made-to-order breakfasts. Superb location in the centre of Oxford. The conversion from prison to hotel has been superb with original features retained where possible. Overall very luxurious and friendly.
