  I had an excellent stay at the Leonardo Royal Hotel Oxford.The breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from, and the staff were friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is convenient - you can easily reach Oxford town centre in about 10 minutes by Uber.One small downside was the pool area.   Stayed one night, strong smell of disinfectant throughout the hotel. Nothing said on arrival about parking, and received a £100 parking fine a month later.   Initial impressions were good, the exterior of the hotel was nice and the check inn process was efficient and friendly. However the room was dated and in need of repair. The carpet had stains everywhere and parts of the bathroom were rusty. There was also a prom on the evening we stayed and the hotel was very very noisy.
