    Hotel needs and deserves to be refurbished. One of the rooms was not very clean, the toilet was dirty. Breakfast was not up to the standards of a 4 star Hotel and no warning was given when we booked.

    Comfy beds/ suite nice big bathroom, spacious room. Nice bar lounge area. Parking was easy. No lift. We were on the 2 nd floor.

    A lovely hotel, confortable rooms and great staff but we booked and paid for a full breakfast and got continental. A decision we were told was taken on high without thought of guests. We had wanted food upon arrival but told to order in off Just Eat - really not what you expect from a four star Hotel.

    Hotel has 4 star rating, however it cannot serve ANY hot food as kitchen has been closed several weeks.Breakfast is advertised as included, but its been down graded to continental with no hot food.You would expect the owners to remove breakfast included in price to allow guests to decide if its worth paying for it

    Initial impressions were good as the reception staff were friendly and welcoming. Given key card to room on second floor. Room very dirty - carpet needs to be either replaced or industrially cleaned as marks/stains everywhere. Sofa bed covered in marks/spillages. Net curtains dirty. Mirrors covered in dust & smeared handprints. Bathroom floor not clean. Had to wash the toilet ourselves before use. Toilet wouldn't flush. We were moved to a different room after speaking with reception staff. Second room slightly better as brighter and had sea view. Cleanliness again - not good. This really needs addressing ASAP. Again, toilet wouldn't flush in that room or indeed the toilet downstairs in the reception/bar area. No evening meals offered and no cooked breakfast option. Limited choice for continental. Spoke with hotel duty manager and reception staff and they explained that at the minute, all food has been stopped. Although it still does state on the hotel website, that these are on offer. Had we been aware of this beforehand, we would've cancelled our booking and went elsewhere. There are other places to eat out but personally for us, we like to have the option to dine or breakfast where we're staying so that you don't have to be driving about all the time. The hotel itself is ideally situated, has a lovely garden and it is a great base for travelling around. The hotel staff are very friendly and accommodating (and apologetic) but they can only do so much. We were offered a partial refund on our stay, which was very much appreciated. Unfortunately, the biggest issue for us was the cleanliness (or lack of) in the bedrooms 🫤
