A lovely hotel in the heart of Leicester, situated close to the train station and 5 minutes walk from the main shopping area. The hotel was nicely decorated, although could probably do with a lick of paint in areas as the paint was mismatched. On to the room it was super warm and cosy (just how I like it) - The lift was working when I visited. Surprisingly nice
I was really impressed with this Ibis hotel. The interior was very nice with lovely bedroom and eating area. The staff were friendly and there is a small car park. First and last !
I stayed at the Ibis Leicester City on Sat 29th November 2025 for the first and last time. On my arrival I find out that the only lift was broken and will remain broken untill January 2026. No communication was sent prior to my stay as I may have been inclined to look elsewhere. The room was basic as expected but there was what appeared to be blood stained on the carpet. Needs a bit of cleaning up but a good nights sleep
Unfortunately when I arrived the lift was not working and won’t be until next year.
