This hotel is rather drab . The rooms are OK but there is no air con and the bed we had was a standard double. With the current temperatures (29+C) it made for a very sweaty night. The room was not serviced on a daily basis. Bath room needed an upgrade with a bath curtain to retain the shower - very ‘80s!Never again.This hotel is rather drab . Our room was small and filthy. The carpet hadn’t even been hoovered. the bed was a standard double and really uncomfortable. Breakfast which was extra was OK but a struggle to find cutlery as the tables were not laid.Our room was small and filthy. Very dirty and smelly. Hall carpet had obviously been damp for years and had a strong musty smell. At breakfast I asked were the clean cups were and was told they did not have enough to go round . The hotel is on bad need of a revamp. They should also invest in a vacuum cleaner and teach the staff how to use itVery dirty and smelly. Down market and poor quality

Booked for one night. The room had no air conditioning or a fan ( I don’t think any part of the hotel had air con). The room hadn’t been hoovered as there were bits and bobs on the carpet. The bathroom hadn’t had a thorough clean for ages, the Lino didn’t fit the room as there were bulges as you walked on it and one of the towels had a stain! The Burlington Hotel is set on the Eastbourne sea front right next to the pier. The rooms have different prices dependant on what you needs are.We had a super room with a lovely view of the pier.Plenty of room and a nice bathroom.
