We just returned from a golf trip to Northern Ireland, and we spent 5 nights at Maldron Hotel Derry. First of all, the location and the atmosphere was excellent, the rooms were clean & well appointed, the breakfast buffet was great, and the restaurant & bar had an excellent menu. Had a one night visit to the Maldron and it was a very good choice. I had a meal in the bar on the Friday evening and the chicken pasta dish was superb and good value for money. Staff are really helpful and fruemdly, will be back. On arrival we got free underground parking which is a big bonus. Then we were met with a lovely happy receptionist. She let us leave our bags and told us how to find the Derry girls mural. Also suggested somewhere nice to have lunch which was great! We walked the wall and returned to the hotel. On return we met a different receptionist. I just wanted to leave a special mention and huge thank you to Aisling, who was the manager.
