Rubbish sunday lunch
Sunday lunch what an experience starter medley of whitebait, calamari and tempura prawns all over cooked and cold. Roast beef sent back 3 times neat was cold, inside potatoes cold, beef tough as old boots and in the gravy a mushroom (that wasn't asked for) pudding brulee burnt overall it as terrible, the bottle of sparking water was warmer than the food.Sunday lunch what an experience starter medley of whitebait, calamari and tempura prawns all over cooked and cold. Lovely beer, poor food.
Lovely pub, great beer, excellent front of house staff. The big downside was the food, I ordered a burger at £18.50 which was burnt, only a teaspoon of coleslaw and a few chips. Lovely welcoming stay
We loved our stay! The team were very welcoming and friendly! Mike and Jen have a fantastic pub with an amazing full English and evening meals ! Fantastic Sunday lunch. The service was also very attentive. I highly recommend eating here. The decor is also very pleasant.
