    Have just returned after yet another wonderful stay at La Barbarie Hotel. The hotel is a true gem and located in a lovely quiet lane above Saints Bay. The staff, from the time you step into reception, are all friendly, welcoming and helpful. Nothing is ever too much trouble. The food is excellent and tasty, whether you go à la carte or on the set menu and, again, the restaurant staff are friendly and very hospitable. We stayed in a pool side room with a balcony, which was clean and tidy and serviced every day. No other hotel has matched our experience at La Barbarie. The hotel is wonderful, but it’s the staff who make every visit feel special. Thank you to all of you for making our stay such a memorable one.

    Situated in a quiet location at the head of Saints Bay. Rooms are clean, air conditioned and well maintained, if a tad on the small side. The food is excellent on the pricier side of things. Good car parking, and adequate sit-out areas, with a swimming pool. All in all, very good, and would certainly stay again. Staff are great, engaging and polite.

    We always enjoy our stays at La barbarie as it is consistently excellent in terms of comfortable accommodation, friendly, helpful staff and of course, the food and wine! This trip the weather was kind enough for us to enjoy pool time with our grandsons who live on the island. Now when's our next visit.........?

    This was a return visit to La Barberi which nestles in the green and leafy lanes of St Martins. Once again it matched our expectations.This time we opted for a pool room in the separate more modern block - spacious with indoor and outdoor seating area and a large bathroom containing a bath and a good shower. Our only comment would be that the decor and furnishings are a bit traditional, in comparison to the bar and dining areas.We enjoyed breakfasts, a dinner and a lunch in the hotel. Service was friendly and efficient. We look forward to our next visit!     Fabulous relaxing break with superb food

    We had a fabulous stay at La barbarie. Our poolside room was spacious, comfortable and immaculate.The hotel staff were wonderful, friendly, smiley, polite and efficient, they made our stay extra special.The restaurant (where we ate everyday) offered a great range of superb food and was great value for money.The hotel is a little remote, in as much as there were no pavements close by and it wasn't an easy walk to St Peter Port because of this but the bus stop was right outside the hotel. The pool was extremely well maintainex. It was wonderfully quiet so we had a very relaxing few days so highly recommend this hotel.
