I visited in business. Check in was fairly straight forward and I was given my room key card for the third floor. As I exited the lift the whole floor had a sweaty feel about it. There was no fresh air and it felt like you were in the changing room of a gym. Very odd. The room was clean. It overlooked offices opposite. Stayed here again for the Great Bristol Run, we knew exactly what we were booking as we stayed the same time last The hotel is basic, but fulfilled our needs. The rooms were clean and comfy. If you are looking for an uncomfortable night on a 1-inch thick foam pad and paper thin pillows, this would be it! Serious security concern.
The hotel room itself wasn’t bad (basic but expected) and the hotel overall was ok HOWEVER…They gave us a key card to someone’s room at first, we went to the room and gained access and someone was in there.
