  Great hotel for a Brighton visit

  Great location for a couple of days visit to Brighton. Lovely hotel with excellent service throughout. Room was ready as soon as we arrived so was able to drop bags and explore. Lots of choice for breakfast.   10/10 and all the Stars- no notes!

  My little boy (5) and I just returned from a brilliant overnight stay at the Doubletree Hilton right on the seafront in Brighton. The location is perfect- easy walk from the station or reasonable parking (for Brighton anyway). There's so much to to do right outside on the beach and a short stroll to the pier, SeaLife centre and all the lovely lanes. I booked through Hilton Honours app and it was so easy, I was impressed that I could use my phone as a room key and over the moon to have a notification that our room was ready early too. We did have some questions so headed down to reception where we were helped by a super friendly member of staff (I didn't get her name and she was gone when I went back but I remember it started with an S, she was french, with short dark hair) she couldn't have been more helpful explaining all the Hilton Honours perks including warm cookies and cans of water+ upgraded free WiFi! Today we were assisted by Evie who was so lovely with my little boy and really helpful. The hotel itself is great, very sympathetic to the beautiful history of the building, styling was relevant to the location while bringing it up to date with comfort and facilities. We felt so welcome and found everything we needed easily. If all staricases were that beautiful I'd never take the lift- even to the 4th floor. Our room was really comfortable and very clean. We were in a standard king room 404 and it suited us very well. It was quite warm in the night but I was able to open the windows and it wasn't noisy at all facing away from the road.After a lovely day out along the beach yesterday we came back for a drink and watch the sunset from the Metropole bar/ restaurant. We were extremely well looked after by Christian who was so friendly, interesting and professional as well as Melonie who was very kind and attentive.The buffet breakfast this morning was excellent, such a great range with something for everyone and attention to preferences and allergies. There was even an activity pack for the children and someone dressed up as a shark saying "happy good Friday" which was hilarious. Every member of staff was wonderful, a real asset to their team and made our stay special- they wanted the guests to enjoy their experience and we could feel it.We used the pool which was a really fantastic addition and even found a room for the kids to play and let off steam which was so unexpected and appreciated as the weather wasn't great today.   We had the absolute pleasure of attending the Le Petit Chef dining experience at the hotel, and it was such a fun, delightful, and truly unique evening. From the moment it began, there was a real sense of magic to it, and the immersive concept made it feel so special. Every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious, making the whole experience unforgettable.The service was exceptional, so attentive, welcoming, and genuinely caring. It really made us feel looked after and added a lovely personal touch to the evening.The hotel itself is stunning, from the moment we walked into the lobby, we were struck by its elegance and inviting atmosphere. We also enjoyed drinks at the Metropole Bar & Terrace, which looked gorgeous with the Easter decorations and created such a cosy, relaxed setting.A heartfelt thank you to Mohita, Soraya, Fergus, and Barbara for taking such wonderful care of us, they truly made our visit extra special.
