  Serious Violation of Privacy During Our Stay

  During our stay, we experienced an extremely disturbing and unacceptable incident that constitutes a serious violation of our privacy. While our room was occupied, hotel staff entered our room by unlocking the door with a key card without our consent and without receiving any clear authorization. At that moment, my spouse and I were inside the room, and our most private space was violated.Hotel representatives later claimed that the door had been knocked. However, no consent was given by us to open the door, the door was not opened, and despite receiving no response, the staff proceeded to unlock and enter the room using a key card. Entering a guest room without explicit consent and without receiving a response is clearly against hotel standards and the fundamental right to privacy.At the time of the incident, the room was occupied, and we were in an extremely private moment. There was no emergency situation such as fire, medical issues, or any security-related risk. The reason later given for entering the room — such as a menu change — does not in any way justify accessing a guest room by key card. Furthermore, the hotel’s General Manager attempted to normalize this incident by stating that “this is something that can happen anywhere in the world,” which is completely unacceptable.Hotel management stated that the incident was reviewed through security cameras and that we would be allowed to view the footage. However, at the security office, we were shown footage belonging to other rooms only, and the recordings related to our room were not shown to us. Upon our request, the Security Manager ended the review process, citing a hotel event as the reason. This approach lacks transparency and further undermines trust.Due to this serious violation, we were forced to terminate our stay early and immediately check out. We requested a full refund through Enuygun. However, we were informed that a refund without deduction would only be possible if we checked out within 15 minutes, which is frankly astonishing given the severity of the situation.This incident raises serious concerns regarding guest safety, privacy, and service standards. We respectfully request that this matter be thoroughly investigated and that our grievance be properly addressed.

  Something very good, and something rather poor.

  Good;- in general a nice hotel- very nice and helpful staff- OK gym- good restaurant, and far better then what earlier reviews have stated.Bad; - completely a wasteland around the hotel, and close to a highway- the breakfast is medium and not western oriented, even though it looked like most of the guests were non-Turkish. No cold milk some of the days.- wardrobe by he gym not too clean.- hard pillows.I would have given rating 4, but the day I left was a mess. The hotel offered transport to IST airport, and I ordered (and paid for) pick up at 05.30AM in the morning. No car came and the guy in the reception knew nothing. When he called for it the car, it had broken down (I was told). I had to wait more than 30min for a new car, and then the driver had to drive like hell for me to reach my flight. Absolutely not safe. Even though it's a sub supplier that has messed up, it's the hotel that offered the service. By such critical pick ups, they must follow up an check up on their partners. This messy end to my stay resulted in reduction in my overall rating from 4 to 3.   Five star hotel, and a 5 star massage therapist.

  The highlight of this place was the service at the pool area. Superb management. Sauna was excellent, poolside facilities also very good. Highlight for me was the massage service. Trained therapist addressed my exact need to alleviate muscle tension and sciatica - competent and quiet treatment. So unexpectedly good. She was an Indian therapist called Unika, experienced in several Indian hotels including the Taj, a premier brand. This management clearly recruits well. Lifted the Yelova stay immensely.

  The hotel is very quiet even it's near the highway also the room is comfortable .The staff are helpful and friendly, if i am coming back to yalova definitely i will stay in the same hotel.

  Lovely And Friendly Hotel

  This hotel is ideal for business travellers and potentially holidaymakers. Nicely laid out hotel from reception with a great bar in which the bartender has an unbelievable memory for previous drink order. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and dinner meal. Never tried lunch, but I would imagine it would be very nice. All the members of staff I had the pleasure to assist me with were excellent. The rooms were nice, clean and cozy and very tidy, along with a very good Wi-Fi connection. In summary this hotel is highly recommended for business travellers along with holiday makers.
