  This place is a dump. Very disappointed with the facility. It is undergoing renovation but it is dirty and in poor repair. The food was dismal. No workers were present in the dining area.   We stayed here for one night after two nights in Detroit. It's a perfectly good hotel situated on the westside of town - which is where we wanted to be since we were visiting a few breweries in the Dexter area.   I failed to check in electronically and as such was assigned a handicapped accessible room. I asked for a diamond upgrade or a non-handicapped accessible room and was told by the front desk clerk that they were pretty busy. She said they had a suite and quoted a dollar amount. I then asked if we could have water and she pointed to where the water was kept and said help yourself.   Worst Hilton ever stayed in.

  I am a Hilton owner in New York and use my points all over the world. This is the worst Hilton by any name that we have stayed in. Mediocre staff-- at best. Even though I'm at Diamond level, they stuck us in a first floor room. No safes in rooms. No conditioner in shower. No daily maid service. Free breakfast but orange juice was fake and rest was mediocre.I am a Hilton owner in New York and use my points all over the world. This is the worst Hilton by any name that we have stayed in.
